Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking an Application Developer to elevate our Atlassian environment, focusing on Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Product Discovery (JPD), Assets, and Confluence.

The role will partner closely with our IT PMO, Enterprise Applications team, and various business stakeholders to architect, develop, and deliver scalable Atlassian solutions that streamline operations and drive efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of IT experience in application development.
• Extensive experience administering and developing cloud-based Atlassian apps: Jira Cloud, JSM, JPD, Assets and Confluence.
• Technical problem-solving with API integrations and advanced workflow configurations.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements to configure scalable Atlassian configurations and developments.
• Design, develop, implement and test Atlassian applications across Jira Cloud, JSM, JPD, Assets, and Confluence.
• Administer the Atlassian stack and provide end-user training and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with IT PMO and Enterprise Applications to align with manufacturing and business processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies where applicable.
