Qualifications

• Requires CAATE-accredited Athletic Training education and applicable state licensure.
• NATABOC/NATA certification and Texas licensure are required.
• In-person BLS certification is required (AHA/Red Cross accepted).
• Minimum experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries in relevant settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of athletic trainer duties within professional guidelines.
• Prevent, recognize, treat and rehabilitate injuries.
• Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries with various modalities.
• Provide emergency first aid and initial medical assessment.
• Document evaluations and interventions in the patient record.
