Job summary

Analog Devices, Milpitas, CA, is seeking an experienced ATE test engineer to design, develop and support test solutions for complex ICs used in AI data centers. You will work with Advantest V93k and collaborate with design, product engineering and manufacturing teams to improve yield and test quality.

The role requires 10+ years in semiconductor test, a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, and hands-on lab experience. A discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in test development for semiconductors.
• Hands-on lab experience with IC bring-up, test, and characterization.
• Experience with Advantest V93k is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, release to production and support ATE test solutions for complex ICs.
• Following test application development procedures and demonstrate compliance through technical documentation generation.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware using root cause analysis and provide technical solutions for test-related problems, provide yield improvement solutions, provide test-time reduction solutions, resolve bench-tester correlation issues and improve the accuracy of the test through refined test methodologies. Debug and characterize silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench data.
• Work in a team environment and support multiple initiatives and independently determine and develop their approach to each assignment.
• Collaborate with design, product engineering, and manufacturing to understand the root cause of yield issues and test-related production operation issues.
• Support business goals for quality, cost, and delivery and collaborate with functional support groups.
• Support manufacturing operations for test solution issues.
• Manage projects, involving delegation and review of work, at times acting as a team leader.
• Provide guidance, coaching and training for a growing test engineering department
