Job summary

The Naval Intelligence Activity seeks a senior tactical/ASW analyst to serve as SME on foreign submarine intelligence collection, acoustic analysis, and tactical reconstruction. You will plan and lead complex research projects producing finished intelligence reports and threat assessments for SWORD focus countries.

You will mentor analysts, present briefings to high-level audiences, and develop written products for diverse customers, applying expert tradecraft and established IC analytic

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex projects involving acoustic analysis, foreign naval platforms, sensor systems, and Target Motion Analysis (TMA) of ASW assets.
• Ability to interpret multi-source intelligence information and correlate it to adversary tactics and patterns.
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community analytic standards and tradecraft for intelligence production.
• Ability to conduct pattern analysis and project adversary trends to inform tactical reconstructions and planning.
• Experience communicating complex analysis to senior leaders and partners via written narratives and multimedia presentations.
• Experience mentoring, training, and developing junior personnel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior tactical/ASW analyst and SME on foreign submarine and ASW intelligence collection, acoustic analysis, and tactical reconstruction.
• Plan and lead complex research projects producing finished intelligence reports, threat assessments, and studies for ONI’s integrated warfare analysis focusing on SWORD countries.
• Provide accurate reporting on foreign submarine and ASW tactics by applying expert knowledge of platforms’ capabilities and doctrine.
• Direct, mentor, and advise analysts on production objectives, collection requirements, and intelligence tradecraft.
• Prepare and present briefings to high-level audiences and develop written products for diverse customers.
