Job summary

SHINE Systems seeks a seasoned ASW professional to support the Navy’s high-fidelity simulation initiatives, focusing on sonar tactical decision aids and related tools. You will apply anti-submarine warfare expertise to design, develop, and deliver system-of-systems solutions enhancing fleet readiness and undersea dominance.

The role involves SME leadership for IUSS and other TDAs, collaboration with developers and fleet users, and ensuring tactical realism across acoustic models and system

Qualifications

• 12+ years of fleet operational experience related to ASW operations, systems or theory OR bachelor's degree with 10+ years of ASW experience.
• Experience working at an IUSS site supporting mission operations.
• Ability to obtain interim security clearance.
• Knowledge of undersea warfare tactics, acoustic sensors, and beamforming principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for IUSS and STK/STK-N and support development planning and PVTs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational accuracy in acoustic models and interfaces.
• Prepare and deliver briefs and analyses to fleet stakeholders and external organizations.
• Provide operational insight into ASW system performance and sonar data interpretation.
• Coordinate tasking, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery of upgrades, docs, and training.
• Travel up to 25% to fleet sites or test facilities.
