Job summary

Space Systems Integration in Chantilly, VA seeks an Astrodynamics Analyst to independently evaluate mission architectures, trajectory design, and autonomous guidance systems for satellites in LEO, MEO, and GEO.

You will model high-fidelity maneuvering and orbit determination, collaborating with designers and operators, and presenting findings to government customers in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Experience evaluating complex orbital maneuvers and trajectory designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate advanced orbital maneuvering strategies including multi-satellite RPO and launch trajectories.
• Model and analyze orbit determination operations using space surveillance data.
• Conduct independent trade studies and technical assessments.
• Review and validate technical metrics, algorithm descriptions, and data products from external teams.
• Present findings and technical briefings to elite government customers.
