Job summary

Space Systems Integration LLC in Chantilly, VA seeks an Astrodynamics Analyst to serve as the government’s independent evaluator for mission architectures, trajectory design, orbital mechanics, and autonomous guidance systems. You will conduct high-fidelity modeling of advanced maneuvering and orbit determination strategies for satellites in Earth orbits (LEO, MEO, GEO).

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (polygraph preferred).
• Master's degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Expertise in multi-body orbital dynamics and trajectory analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate complex orbital maneuvering strategies for satellites across LEO/MEO/GEO.
• Model orbit determination operations using space surveillance data.
• Conduct independent trade studies and technical assessments.
• Review and validate external vendor trajectory models and data products.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable briefings for national decision-makers.
