Job summary

Sorren is seeking a Senior Assurance professional in Denver to lead and supervise audits, reviews, and compilations, applying thorough knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and financial reporting requirements. You will train staff, manage engagement budgets, and communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Preferred candidates have 3–5 years of assurance experience, a CPA license or eligibility, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Address complex accounting issues such as consolidations and going concern assessments.
• Apply thorough knowledge of GAAP, GAAS in audit procedures.
• Train, supervise, and delegate work to associates and interns.
• Review workpapers and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage engagement budgets and communicate with clients and team members.
• Meet deadlines and maintain engagement quality.
