Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to coordinate the day‑to‑day audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap‑up, with responsibility for financial statement disclosures and control testing.

You will act as the client contact for routine inquiries, supervise staff, and ensure engagements align with Firm policies and timelines. Strong GAAP knowledge and CPA eligibility are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR CPA certification, required
• Three (3) or more years of prior relevant audit experience, required
• CPA eligibility or CPA, preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit software/tools is expected

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Act as client contact for basic questions and information during engagements.
• Supervise audit staff, review workpapers, and communicate findings to the engagement team.
• Apply GAAP, SEC and PCAOB guidelines to client engagements with proper documentation.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and ensure accuracy of workpapers.
