Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up, and to prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, required OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification, required
• Master's degree in Accountancy, preferred
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required and actively pursuing completion of the exams, required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Review client internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Supervise and review work of audit staff.
• Communicate financial statement disclosures and testing results to clients and engagement team.
• Assist engagement manager with audit planning memos and budgets.
