Job summary

BDO USA in the United States is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day in-charge duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, including preparing financial statements with disclosures and applying GAAP as needed. This role also serves as the client contact for routine questions and information.

You will review and supervise audit staff, document internal controls, and participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements, working with teams to ensure timely and accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
• CPA certification, required or preferred with non-accounting degree.
• Two years of prior audit experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day in-charge duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures.
• Document, validate and assess client internal controls.
• Act as client contact for routine questions and information.
• Supervise and review audit staff; coach junior team members.
