Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is hiring for a Vice President, Association Banking to develop new community association client relationships and grow deposits and loans. This remote Minnesota role requires heavy travel, industry events attendance, and active selling of banking services to associations.

You will nurture existing clients, present solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure service levels and progress toward goals. Bachelor's preferred, 3+ years of related banking experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 75% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities by offering Bank’s industry specific banking services and products to the Community Association Industry.
• Continue to grow existing client relationships and cross-sell products and services.
• Attend industry events including trade shows, luncheons and CAI Chapter activities; travel as required.
• Communicate banking services via email, letters, demonstrations, presentations and conversations.
• Market and solicit loans to community associations; collect and submit underwriting material.
