Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Associate for the Alternative Investments Transformation team in Boston. The role requires strong initiative, the ability to handle multiple assignments, and delivery of projects on time.

You will work with Alternative Investments technology and stakeholders, ensuring effective governance and timely implementation. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/economics, 2+ years in an investment firm tech role, and proficient communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics.
• 2+ years of experience in an investment firm in a technology, front office or software role.
• Strong written, communication, and presentation skills with senior SMEs.
• Excellent organizational skills and accountability for work.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative with strong teamwork and relationship-building.
• Strong interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills; proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence.
• Preferred experience in Alternative Investments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing business requirements and executing test scripts.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliation for testing and validation of new functionality.
• Assist in governance framework execution over transformation globally.
• Monitor the implementation of new functionality and track issues to resolution.
• Track and communicate changes affecting operational teams and report instructions.
• Coordinate and liaise in creation of training materials.
• Prepare process flowcharts and document workflows.
• Analyze performance metrics of new initiatives.
• Prepare materials for senior management on new functionality.
• Build strong, long-term relationships across State Street.
