Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Associate for its Alternative Investments Transformation team in Princeton, NJ. The role partners with Alternative Investments technology and stakeholders to deliver timely projects and ensure effective governance across transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years within an investment firm in a tech or software role, and strong communication, analytical, and Excel skills to build solutions and influence senior SMEs across the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics.
2+ years of experience within an investment firm in a technology, front office or software related role.
Strong written, communication, and presentation skills, including ability to liaise with and influence senior subject matter experts.
Must have strong organizational skills and sense of ownership for work.
Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines; works collaboratively and promotes teamwork.
Strong interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills; proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Assist in writing business requirements and executing test scripts.
Perform data analysis and reconciliation required for testing and validation of new functionality.
Assist in the governance framework over transformation globally.
Monitor the implementation of new functionality and track issues and bugs to resolution.
Track and communicate changes that impact operational teams and report instructions.
Coordinate and liaise in creation of training materials.
Prepare and document process flowcharts.
Compile and analyze performance metrics of new initiatives.
Assist preparation of materials for senior management presentations.
