Hopscotch Primary Care in Asheville, NC, seeks a Sr. Associate, Strategic Engagement to improve patient engagement within the Growth team. The role conducts patient outreach in Western North Carolina, through telephonic and in-person home visits.

You’ll engage high-priority patients, participate in community outreach, document interactions under HIPAA, and coordinate with families and healthcare providers. Travel across Western North Carolina is required, and a strong background in healthcare

Competenze

• Healthcare engagement, sales or marketing experience.
• Problem-solving orientation and a flexible, positive attitude.
• Strong communication and trust-building with Medicare patients.
• Sales background preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and EMR platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; manage priorities.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs is a plus.
• Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Willingness to travel throughout Western North Carolina.

About the Role

The Sr. Associate, Strategic Engagement will play a key role within the Growth team and will be responsible for improving patient engagement and fostering participation in our care model. This position is dedicated to conducting patient outreach (telephonic and in-person home visits) in Western North Carolina.

What You’ll Do

Patient Outreach & Engagement:

• Connect with prospective, high-priority patients and engage them in Hopscotchor help them find alternative primary care options.

Community-Based Engagement:

• Spend approximately 10% of your time engaging with patients in community settings, including their homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. Reliable transportation is a requirement for this role.

Documentation & HIPAA Compliance:

• Document interactions with patients promptly while maintaining HIPAA standards and confidentiality of protected health information.

Communication & Coordination:

• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Ensure all parties involved in the patient’s care are well-informed and aligned on goals.

About You

A great candidate for the role has:

• Proven success in healthcare-related engagement, sales, or marketing roles.
• A problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude
• Strong people skills and an ability to communicate and build trust easily with Medicare patients
• Sales background preferred but not required
• Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Excel and EMR platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs and processes is a plus
• Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent education and work experience
• The ability to travel throughout Western North Carolina to meet with patients.
