Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking a Senior Associate – Risk to join its Risk & Compliance team. The role demands hands-on SOX compliance expertise, internal controls knowledge, and a strong grasp of risk management frameworks across key processes.

The candidate will deliver SOX engagements, perform walkthroughs, develop RCMs, and help strengthen governance across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory, Payroll, and Fixed Assets. Collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, risk management or audit.
• Experience in walkthroughs, preparing RCMs, and performing control testing.

Responsibilities

• Independently deliver end-to-end SOX engagements for multiple client processes.
• Lead client discussions to understand business processes and evaluate control frameworks.
• Document process flows, narratives, and RCMs to capture dependencies and risk coverage.
• Test design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and identify gaps.
