Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks a Senior Associate in Process Risk & Controls to help clients strengthen governance and internal controls. You will identify, assess, and manage risk across business processes while contributing to testing and engagement deliverables.

You will collaborate with SOX teams, develop leadership within engagement groups, and support business development and mentoring in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related business discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, internal audit, or related internal control roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across client organizations.
• Participate in risk assessment interviews and develop risk assessments and documentation.
• Test internal controls and evaluate control operating effectiveness.
• Develop testing plans, work programs, narratives, process documentation, and flowcharts.
• Identify risks and controls and provide improvement recommendations.
• Review team work for accuracy and quality.
• Manage engagement budgets and report progress and estimates.
• Prepare client deliverables and engagement reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with client personnel and stakeholders.
