Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in biological science, biochemistry or related fields with 1-3 years of experience.Responsibilities- Contribute to the design of experiments and independently perform sample preparation using various extraction, protein digestion and purification techniques for mass spectrometry analysis.
- Develop "fit-for-purpose" assays and bioanalytical workflows, balancing rigor against study goals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data.
- Work with different types of samples (biological fluids, tissues) from pre-clinical species.
- Assist in data analysis and interpretation, communicate results to team members.
- Contribute to the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation and/or other laboratory equipment.
- Maintain scientific and ethical standards, including appropriate record-keeping and compliance.
Requirements- B.S./M.S. in biological sciences, biochemistry, or related fields.
- Recent graduate with 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex sample preparation workflows (preferably for biological mass spectrometry) with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Works well independently and in a matrix environment.
