Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate Project Manager to coordinate defined projects and workstreams, applying core PM practices with moderate guidance. You will develop integrated plans, drive execution, and provide clear visibility into schedule, cost, risks, decisions, and actions.

On-site in Lake Forest, CA, you will partner with cross-functional teams to maintain forecasts, track variances, and prepare concise governance materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate defined projects or significant workstreams and apply core project management practices with moderate guidance
• Establish reliable plans and controls, facilitate team execution, and provide clear visibility into schedule, cost, risk, decisions, and actions
• Develop and maintain integrated project or workstream plans with milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and resource assumptions
• Drive routine execution cadence, action closure, and schedule updates with cross-functional partners
• Analyze variances and coordinate recovery actions with guidance from senior PM or project leadership
• Facilitate risk and issue reviews and maintain mitigation, contingency, decision, and change records
• Maintain forecasts, actuals, accrual inputs, and resource information; identify and explain variances
• Prepare concise status and governance materials that clearly identify decisions required and execution impacts
• Facilitate focused team meetings and planning sessions; build credibility through reliable follow-through and transparent communication
