Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; Graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years without a degree.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication.
  • Experience in production planning, capacity planning, and material control.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manufacturing resource groups using dispatch reports.
  • Liaise between operations and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations).
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication to ensure smooth product workflow.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress and address bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain capacity planning models for accurate work center throughput.

Job Description

Rocketdyne is seeking a Specialist Production Planner (Liaison) to join our Scheduling & Material Planning Center of Excellence in our Redmond, Washington facility.

Essential Functions

In this role, you will organize and coordinate the work of individuals and/or project teams; manage all aspects of assigned projects in one or more operations supporting production activities such as planning, scheduling, material/tool planning and control, production control, shipping, receiving, warehousing and/or transportation, etc.; perform short and long-range planning for assigned functional area(s) and implements approved plans.

  • Coordinate manufacturing resource groups using dispatch reports.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations).
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication to ensure smooth product workflow.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress and address bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain capacity planning models for accurate work center throughput expectations.
  • Analyze production data to forecast future capacity needs and adjust plans.
  • Ensure dispatch reports reflect accurate production status and capacity utilization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct activities for the organization.
  • Interest in the status and tracking of hardware process.
  • Familiarity/experience with inventory management principles.
  • Experience using Qlik Application, Oracle and Delmia systems, preferred.
  • Excellent communication, Interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $60,000 - $112,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
