Job responsibilities

  • Define, prioritize, and clarify epics, features, and user stories; ensure acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements (resiliency, observability, performance) are clear and testable.

  • Maintain a healthy backlog and provide transparent, executive-ready updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions needed.

  • Collaborate with Agility Leads to run effective Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

  • Coordinate release readiness activities, including pre-release reviews, regression/UAT support, release certification, and post-release production validation.

  • Partner with developers, operations, and production management to triage and resolve issues/defects that impact end-to-end payment experiences.

  • Manage cross-team dependencies and support onboarding/adoption of shared APIs/services while minimizing disruption to existing product roadmaps.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, platform/service delivery, financial services technology, or relevant project/program roles.

  • Experience delivering payments or transaction products that require coordination across multiple systems and stakeholders, including servicing and maintenance flows (e.g., set up, inquiry, edits, exceptions).

  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve product discovery, planning, documentation, and/or delivery execution (e.g., requirements synthesis, story drafting, analysis, release planning support).

  • Strong ability to translate business outcomes into clear, testable requirements; proven effectiveness as an interface between business and technical teams.

  • Working knowledge of modern architectures and delivery practices: APIs, microservices, event streaming (e.g., Kafka), databases, CI/CD, and production readiness concepts (monitoring, alerts, runbooks).

  • Agile delivery experience and proficiency with tools such as JIRA/JIRA Align, Confluence (and similar).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting status, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience building shared platform utilities consumed by multiple product teams (API products, internal platforms, shared services).

  • Familiarity with payment lifecycle concepts and operational controls (exceptions/returns, data quality, resiliency).

  • Experience supporting phased modernization/migration approaches and multi-team delivery models
