Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Fund Accounting team in Singapore. You will conduct accounting services for private equity funds, determine NAV, calculate fund performance, allocate expenses, and prepare client reports.

You will manage PE workflows such as capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and support GAAP/IFRS reviews, control quality, and interact with clients to explain reports and resolve issues. Prior Big 4 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5–7 years’ fund accounting experience.
• Familiarity with PE structures and fund lifecycle.
• Proficiency with fund accounting systems and Excel.
• Foundational AI literacy with responsible usage.
• Excellent client-facing communication; Big 4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts accounting services for assigned clients and complex Private Equity funds including NAV, performance, expenses, and reports.
• Manages PE-specific workflows such as capital calls, distributions, and investments tracking.
• Drives process improvements and controls through methodology updates.
• Provides guidance and quality checks for junior team members.
• Interact with clients to explain reports and resolve inquiries.
• Support GAAP/IFRS rule evaluation and documentation updates.
