Job summary

CFOx is seeking a Senior Associate to join our CFO & Accounting Services group, supporting middle-market private equity-backed and founder-owned businesses. You will work closely with Directors and VPs to deliver strategic financial insights, drive operational improvements, and assist in growth initiatives across engagements such as interim CFO, post-M&A integration, FP&A, and month-end close.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of public accounting or corporate finance experience, with audit

Qualifications

• 2–4 years public accounting or corporate finance experience.
• Audit experience preferred.
• CPA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute CFO & Accounting Services engagements through financial analysis, modelling, diligence support, and client-facing workstreams
• Prepare accurate, well-structured client deliverables, analyses, and reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with Directors and Vice Presidents to execute engagement plans, meet deadlines, and address client needs proactively
• Assist in the development, documentation, and improvement of internal processes, procedures, and templates to enhance efficiency and quality
• Continue to build technical, analytical, and client service skills while demonstrating ownership, attention to detail, and increasing independence
