Deerpath Capital Management, a leading direct lending firm, seeks a Senior Associate to span underwriting, portfolio management, and restructuring. You will underwrite opportunities, monitor investments, and present with senior team members, while guiding junior staff and coordinating with PE sponsors and management teams.

The role emphasizes complex financial modeling, LBOs, and legal documentation, with meaningful responsibility from day one and a path to leadership within the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong academic achievement.
• 6–10 years in principal investing, private credit, PE, leveraging finance or related fields.
• Strong credit analysis, financial modeling, and legal documentation skills.
• Proven deal execution across industries and transaction types.
• Ability to mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, strong communication, and travel willingness.
• Restructuring experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite opportunities for existing portfolio companies and present to investment committee.
• Monitor investments and provide frequent updates to leadership.
• Drive deal execution and build relationships with sponsors and management.
• Develop and review complex financial models, including LBOs and valuations.
• Support amendments and deal structuring, coordinating docs and agreements.
• Coordinate workstreams for credit agreements and amendments.
• Partner with restructuring on workouts and mentor juniors.
