Job summary

Blackstone Law, APC in Beverly Hills seeks an experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to lead a high-volume plaintiff-side employment caseload before litigation. You will evaluate cases, negotiate settlements, and build strong client relationships while maximizing value.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in CA employment law, a JD from an accredited law school, and an active CA license. You will mentor junior staff and help refine systems for the department.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CA employment law experience (plaintiff-side preferred).
• JD from accredited law school and active CA license.
• Strong background in wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases.
• Demonstrated experience in settlement negotiation and case resolution.
• Exceptional writing, negotiation, and case evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume pre-litigation employment caseload from intake through resolution.
• Evaluate and sign up new cases — identify case strength, settlement potential, and strategy.
• Handle settlement negotiations, demand letters, and direct communication with opposing counsel.
• Strategically negotiate favorable outcomes for clients before litigation is filed.
• Collaborate with intake and legal assistants to ensure files progress smoothly.
• Help build and refine systems and processes for this department.
• Provide mentorship to junior attorneys or support staff as the team grows.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated Pre-Litigation Attorney to lead and manage a high-volume caseload of plaintiff-side employment matters before litigation. This role is ideal for an attorney who excels at evaluating cases, negotiating favorable settlements, building client relationships, and identifying cases that should proceed to litigation.

The successful candidate will work closely with management, Sr. Attorneys, intake department, and support staff to maximize case value while delivering outstanding client service.
