Job summary

Kinline, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks an Accounting Associate or Senior Associate to support outsourced client work. The role covers monthly close, reporting, and accounting records, with interaction directly with clients and opportunities to improve processes.

The candidate should be accurate, organized, and capable of independent client ownership. The Senior Associate may take greater ownership of close workflows, handle complex issues, and mentor newer staff, all within a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Two+ years progressive accounting experience; multi-client experience preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks Online; Bill.com/Expensify/Gusto/Karbon a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
Hybrid work environment in Scottsdale; CPA progress is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and perform variance analysis.
Record and reconcile activity; prepare journal entries and month-end workpapers.
Complete month-end close tasks on schedule and communicate progress early.
Maintain charts of accounts and ensure proper classification.
Support AP, AR, payroll coordination, expense management, and 1099 reporting.
Respond to client questions, research issues, and escalate as needed.
Support cleanup, reporting improvements, and system implementations using QuickBooks Online and Karbon.
Identify opportunities to improve recurring work for accuracy and efficiency.
