Position Overview
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 10 years of current or recently former verifiable Tier-1 (e.g. McKinsey, Boston Consulting, Bain, etc) Management Consulting experience

Verifiable past experience managing client relationships, addressing problem escalation, developing, preparing and negotiating master service contracts, requests for proposal, statements of work and change orders.

Manage teams of up to (5) resources to deliver and achieve project results, timelines, deliverables and cost targets

Evaluate, assess and identify organizational design improvements, conducting job analysis related to management span of control, accountability and the leaning out of management layers compared with industry competitors

Evaluate, assess and recommend organizational design change roadmap, succession planning, and implementation plan

Research industry-specific current practices to define and maintain industry benchmarking models related to organizational complexity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Associate, Organizational Development will be responsible for delivering exceptional consulting services and ensuring client success by leveraging their extensive management consulting expertise. Key roles and responsibilities include:

Client Engagement and Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Address problem escalation, resolve conflicts, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop, prepare, and negotiate master service agreements, statements of work (SOWs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and change orders.
  • Maintain a strong professional ethical compass when engaging with clients.
Organizational Design and Strategy Implementation
  • Evaluate and assess organizational design to identify opportunities for improvement, including management span of control, accountability, and streamlining of management layers.
  • Conduct job analysis and benchmarking against industry competitors to recommend best practices and improvements.
  • Design and propose organizational change roadmaps, succession planning strategies, and implementation plans aligned with business goals.
  • Research and maintain industry-specific benchmarking models related to organizational complexity.
Service Delivery Management
  • Lead and manage project teams of up to five resources to deliver results within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Use project management methodologies (e.g., PMI PMBOK, Prince2) to ensure structured and efficient delivery.
Data Analysis and Decision-Making
  • Interpret and make decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights and solutions.
  • Build tools and templates in Microsoft Excel to analyze surveys and large datasets, extracting valuable metrics to inform decisions.
Communication and Stakeholder Influence
  • Communicate complex business strategies, plans, and organizational changes effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Utilize exceptional written and verbal communication skills to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
  • Influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Collaboration and Leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of consulting engagements.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities by driving initiatives and influencing others to achieve desired outcomes.
Tool Proficiency and Technical Expertise
  • Create visually compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint (infographics and complex data visualization).
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to conduct advanced data analysis (pivot tables, survey analysis templates).
  • Develop process flowcharts and diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
  • Work with basic functionality in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
  • Prepare and edit high-quality documents using Microsoft Word.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to challenge ideas constructively.
