Reports to : Recruiting Lead / HR Business Partner Team

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate (or Assistant Vice President), Recruiter to join our client's Human Resources team. This individual will lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles across the firm, partnering closely with hiring managers and external search firms to attract and secure top-tier talent. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing skills, exceptional client service abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of departments and levels.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and build strategic hiring plans.
  • Proactively source candidates through direct outreach (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), firm partners, and external search firms.
  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, provide candidate feedback, and manage offer negotiation and closing.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing regular updates on pipeline progress and market insights.
  • Maintain accurate and updated job descriptions.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics and pipeline data to inform strategy.
  • Support annual recruiting goals and contribute to the ongoing development of the recruitment function.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to guide hiring strategies.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and broader HR initiatives, including recruitment analytics and employer branding efforts.
  • Prepare polished recruiting-related presentation materials aligned with firm standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; strong academic credentials preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting; experience in financial services or professional services preferred.
  • Skilled in direct sourcing strategies, with a strong command of LinkedIn Recruiter and other search tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workday or other ATS systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort in working with senior leadership.
  • Team-oriented, self-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance culture.

For Illinois and New York Only :

  • Senior Associate salary range : $115,000 – $140,000
  • Assistant Vice President salary range : $140,000 – $170,000

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Total compensation may also include discretionary awards and a competitive benefits package, including :

  • Generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave
