American Jewish Committee (AJC) is seeking a Senior Associate, Operations and Education Development for our New England region. AJC's Regional Offices connect the local communities with AJC's global advocacy work to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. We maintain the agency's nationwide presence by attracting leaders and donors to AJC, enhancing the organization's influence with key local, national, and international decision makers and stakeholders, implementing advocacy initiatives at the state and local level, and establishing and nurturing community relationships.
The Senior Associate, Operations and Education Development will be a key team member in our AJC New England region, providing essential operational and administrative support for our regional office.
The Senior Associate for AJC New England will be responsible for coodinating functions and providing support for: external relations, office operations, educational programming, advocacy, and other projects. The successful candidate must be highly organized, energetic, and sufficiently flexible to handle multiple assignments in a fast-moving dynamic environment.
The Senior Associate will have broad responsibilities that require a capacity to handle multiple projects and actively interact with all members of the staff team. These include: serving as the managing liaison for the Leaders for Tomorrow program; providing communications and program support; managing financial accounting; performing all roles relevant to office management that include ordering supplies, coordinating office security, meeting management, and other vital functions. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be an avid learner, and play an active part in advancing the office's vital work.

The salary for this position is $67,000 - $72,000, depending on relevant experience.
