7Seventy is seeking a Senior Associate, Operations & Coordination to support the Chief of Staff and Chief Social Impact Officer. This remote position in the United States drives planning, coordinating leadership priorities, and tracking budgets and timelines across systems-change teams.

The role emphasizes proactive calendar management, meeting prep, and cross-team collaboration to advance priorities with excellent communication and organization.

Qualifications

  • Three to five or more years of relevant professional experience in operations, project management, nonprofit work, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting team or leadership operations, including meeting coordination, follow-up, and proactive calendar and time management for senior leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Social Impact Officer and Chief of Staff in planning and coordinating leadership priorities and workflows.
  • Manage leadership work calendars, including roadmaps and priority trackers, to maintain visibility and alignment.
  • Manage and optimize the calendars of the Chief Social Impact Officer and Chief of Staff by proactively prioritizing time, anticipating needs, and aligning schedules with organizational goals.
  • Support preparation for key leadership and Board meetings, including Systems Change Team meetings and internal leadership forums.
  • Coordinate meeting agendas, develop materials, and track action items and follow-up activities.
  • Support the development of internal leadership communications, including organizational updates and briefing materials.
  • Track and coordinate the Chief Social Impact Officer’s external engagements and partnerships.
  • Maintain external engagement trackers and prepare research-informed briefing materials.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely follow-up on key actions and communications related to external engagements.
  • Work with operations leads across Career Pathways, U.S. Policy and Programs, Philanthropy and Community, and MDO Canada.

About the Opportunity

The Senior Associate, Operations & Coordination supports the Chief of Staff and Chief Social Impact Officer in driving effective planning, coordination, and execution of priorities across a systems change portfolio.

This role strengthens day-to-day leadership operations by supporting planning processes, tracking priorities, contributing to budgeting efforts, and coordinating effectively across teams and leadership forums. The position works closely with operations and alignment partners across systems change teams and the broader organization.

This opportunity is well suited for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable organizing complex work, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring priorities move forward efficiently with consistent follow-through.

What You’ll Do

Leadership Operations & Coordination — 40%

  • Support the Chief Social Impact Officer and Chief of Staff in planning and coordinating leadership priorities and workflows.
  • Manage leadership work calendars, including roadmaps and priority trackers, to maintain visibility and alignment.
  • Manage and optimize the calendars of the Chief Social Impact Officer and Chief of Staff by proactively prioritizing time, anticipating needs, and aligning schedules with organizational goals.
  • Support preparation for key leadership and Board meetings, including Systems Change Team meetings and internal leadership forums.
  • Coordinate meeting agendas, develop materials, and track action items and follow-up activities.

Operational Execution & Priority Tracking — 35%

  • Work closely with operations leads across Career Pathways, U.S. Policy and Programs, Philanthropy and Community, and MDO Canada.
  • Support budgeting and expense-tracking processes, including monitoring spending and maintaining basic forecasts.
  • Support the development and management of systems and tools used to track priorities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate across teams to align timelines, required inputs, and deliverables.
  • Identify and elevate risks or delays to the Chief of Staff as needed.
  • Support data collection and reporting used for leadership updates and quarterly reporting processes.
  • Provide flexible surge capacity to other systems change teams by supporting priority initiatives, addressing bandwidth gaps, and helping maintain continuity.

Cross-Team Coordination & Support — 25%

  • Support coordination of Systems Change Team activities, including scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up.
  • Provide coordination support for cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Contribute to process and workflow improvements that strengthen team effectiveness.
