Job summary

Camber Sky Holding LLC is seeking a Senior Associate on the Operating Partners team to embed with portfolio company leadership to drive operational improvement, implement value creation plans, and build scalable systems.

Job description

As a Senior Associate on the Operating Partners team, you will embed directly with portfolio company leadership to drive operational improvement, implement value creation plans, and build the systems that scale great businesses.

Responsibilities

• Embed with portfolio company management teams within 30 days of close to lead the 100-day plan
• Develop and execute five-year strategic blueprints alongside CEOs and functional leaders
• Lead operational diligence on new investment opportunities, assessing organizational strength and operational risks
• Build financial planning and reporting infrastructure where gaps exist
• Support talent acquisition, vendor optimization, and pricing initiatives across portfolio companies
• Track portfolio company KPIs and report on value creation progress to the investment committee

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in operations, strategy consulting, or private equity operating roles
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling a business operation, not just advising on one
• Strong financial acumen, comfort with P&L ownership, unit economics, and operational metrics
• Executive presence; ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with CEOs and senior operators
• Bias toward action, you prefer building over analyzing

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a PE-backed portfolio company in an operating role
• Industry experience in industrials, healthcare, or technology
• Lean Six Sigma or operational transformation certification
