Job summary

Endeavor is seeking a Senior Associate for the Entrepreneur Experience in Detroit, MI. You will work with a nationwide network to source and support high-potential entrepreneurs in the Midwest, including travel to events and selection panels.

You will build relationships with founders, diagnose their needs, and connect them to capital and mentorship across Endeavor’s global community of 3,100+ entrepreneurs. Start ASAP; hybrid local work arrangements available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in business, consulting, entrepreneurship, venture capital, or finance.
• Strong interest in economic development, entrepreneurship, and/or venture capital.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for cultivating Michigan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Experience across multiple business disciplines with ability to evaluate business models, companies, and projects.

Responsibilities

• Pursue the search and selection of Midwest entrepreneurs leading fast-growing post-startup companies.
• Identify top companies and high-potential founders via referrals, research, networking, and events.
• Craft outreach and engagement strategies for candidate companies; lead meetings with early-stage prospects.
• Analyze pipeline companies' leadership, business models, growth potential, financials, and market size.
