Role Overview:

The Marketing Process Analyst will play a critical role in shaping the future of our marketing organization. This position will focus on designing cross functional marketing processes to create efficiency and reduce risk. This involves designing, documenting, and enhancing workflows, maintaining a library of procedural documents, supporting change management efforts, and providing training to support successful implementation.

This position will also partner with subject matter experts across various marketing functions to oversee and maintain a marketing innovation and efficiency roadmap. The roadmap will concentrate on reimagining ways of working and investigating technology, data, and AI capabilities necessary to fulfill the Marketing department's vision, objectives, and strategies.

  • Partnering with the team of Digital Product Managers, Product Owners and Channel Managers who are responsible for maximizing the company’s investment in MarTech and data, to define what capabilities and processes are needed to support the continuous evolution of Marketing capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Business Process Analysis and Design: Responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts and marketing leaders to analyze, document and optimize business processes to improve efficiency. Support the implementation of improved processes with clearly defined protocols and workflows. Create and maintain core process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Stakeholder Needs Assessment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align process design with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. Assist marketing teams by interviewing experts, documenting current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing improvement plans.
  • Sequenced roadmap development: Partner and collaborate with diverse marketing teams and subject matter experts to identify ways of working and technology process changes needed to mature marketing operations. Develop and maintain a sequenced roadmap of process improvements, ranging from simple to complex initiatives, to drive meaningful impact on marketing operations. Roadmap will define stakeholders impacted, value generation per phase, implementation dates of key milestones and alignment to core marketing strategies.
  • Business process management subject matter expert: Acts as a subject matter expert that represents business process re-engineering as part of the overall marketing digital capability infrastructure for strategic planning. Leveraging expertise related to marketing process management and a deep understanding of automating workflows and improving the efficiency of marketing teams to influence the marketing technology eco-system.
  • Process and Training Documentation: Collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to create clear and concise training materials and procedures with the appropriate amount of detail, and process-maps, to train users and define quality and governance standards.
  • Change Management: Secure backing from marketing leadership and process stakeholders to ensure compliance with new protocols and foster continuous improvement to address evolving business requirements. Develop comprehensive change management plans and socialization strategies to promote adoption and ensure preparedness for new and enhanced tools, processes, and functions. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  • Monitoring and quality: Responsible for implementing and analyzing process performance reporting and analytics, review and conduct post-process deployment validation, process audits and ongoing process monitoring activities. Leverage performance insights to support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Strong verbal and written communications, combined with technical and marketing acumen, understanding of leading marketing tools and platforms, (campaign management, project management technologies, digital asset management, website content management, marketing automation).
  • Understanding of core marketing processes and capabilities, i.e., creative services, lead management, brand management, content operations, channel distribution, integrated campaign management.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies i.e., Business Process Management, Value Stream Mapping.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with navigating ambiguity, and passionate about driving change.
  • Internal influencer, culture carrier, negotiating, and consulting skills.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excited to work in an organization that values and empowers an entrepreneurial spirit and specialized expertise.
  • System/process oriented, problem solver, ability to manage multiple initiatives and balance the need to work strategically and hands-on.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing process management and/or process re-engineering efforts.
  • 3+ years’ experience managing large scale initiatives.
  • Must have experience authoring procedures and training materials to support complex process re-engineering efforts.
  • Business Process Management, Value Stream Mapping, or Product operating model orientation is a plus.
  • Experience working with business subject matter experts and product owners to integrate and connect digital marketing technologies to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $105,000 - $140,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
