Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Mergers & Acquisitions practice in Kansas City, MO. You will advise clients on corporate tax planning, due diligence, and tax structuring as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes handling complex tax issues, training staff, and coordinating with client finance and tax advisors on risk assessment and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisitions in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm.
• Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university.
• Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industries.
• Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
