Senior Landscape Architect

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Senior Landscape Architect looking for a new challenge? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice in Newport, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality landscape projects across a range of sectors.

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Landscape Architect with extensive experience in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs), a strong background in job running, and proficiency in Vectorworks. You will be responsible for leading projects, managing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of schemes from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Undertaking and managing LVIAs and other landscape planning reports
2. Leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring high design standards
3. Using Vectorworks for design development and technical drawings
4. Liaising with clients, consultants, and planning authorities
5. Overseeing and mentoring junior team members
6. Managing budgets, timelines, and project delivery
7. Attending site visits and ensuring compliance with planning regulations

About You:

1. A Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or working towards chartership
2. Extensive experience in LVIAs and landscape planning
3. Strong job-running experience, able to manage multiple projects
4. Proficiency in Vectorworks (essential)
5. Excellent communication and client-facing skills
6. A proactive and organised approach to project management
