Job summary

Benefit Street is seeking a Senior Associate, Investor Reporting in Plano, TX to oversee monthly investor reporting for the bridge loan portfolio, including CLO and REPO investments. You will ensure timely delivery of CREFC reporting, remittance reports, and related investor packages while upholding controls and compliance with investor, trustee, and servicing requirements.

Qualifications

• BBA in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in CRE loan servicing, reporting, or structured finance.
• Experience with CLO and/or CREFC reporting requirements preferred.
• Experience working with trustees and managing external reporting relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate finance including a general understanding of all types of loans, property types and real estate lenders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• MBA CCMS Level I and/or II certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly CLO and bridge portfolio reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Manage all CREFC reporting deliverables, including Loan Periodic Update (LPU), remittance, property, financial, supplemental, and special servicer files.
• Serve as primary liaison with trustees, coordinating reporting requirements and deadlines
• Review and validate reporting data to ensure compliance with investor, trustee, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including servicing, asset management, accounting, and capital markets teams
• Monitor reporting calendars and manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability
• Support onboarding of new CLO transactions, including development of reporting processes and controls
• Maintain documentation of reporting procedures and internal controls
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and investor inquiries

The Senior Associate, Investor Reporting is responsible for overseeing the monthly investor reporting obligations for Benefit Street's bridge loan portfolio, including both CLO and REPO investments. Due to monthly reporting deadlines, the candidate may be required to work one weekend per month until the legacy portfolios have fully run off.

As a key member of the Investor Reporting team, this position will support the continued growth of the platform by developing scalable reporting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence. The role will collaborate closely with Servicing, Accounting, Treasury, Asset Management, and Technology teams to resolve reporting issues, ensure data integrity, and implement process enhancements.

In addition, the Senior Associate, Investor Reporting will serve as the primary backup for the life insurance investor reporting function, providing cross-functional support to ensure business continuity and the timely delivery of all investor reporting obligations. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of commercial mortgage loan accounting and servicing, including the ability to reconcile daily general ledger feeds, investigate and resolve balance discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
