Job summary

Mariner is seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Development & Strategy to lead integration efforts for newly acquired firms, guiding technology transitions and operational migrations. The role focuses on timely, strategic, and seamless transitions while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.

You will oversee technology platform migrations, especially operations, trading, and client reporting, and ensure successful onboarding into Mariner's wealth team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver results in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial services, preferably within an RIA setting.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with acquired firms and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive integration project plans (technology, processes, policies).
  • Oversee migration of operations platforms and client reporting systems.
  • Coordinate transition of billing, trading, reconciliation, and client PMS data.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integrations.
  • Design and deliver training for staff of acquired firms on new systems and processes.
  • Track progress using KPIs and address issues to improve processes.
  • Identify and mitigate integration risks and maintain thorough documentation.
