Job summary

Clean Power Alliance in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Associate, Integrated Marketing to lead marketing campaigns, elevate CPA’s brand, and drive customer enrollment. This role rewards strategic thinkers with strong leadership and a proven track record in marketing.

You will collaborate with the Marketing and Digital Strategy team and cross‑functional partners, manage vendors and campaigns, and analyze results for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–6 years in marketing, communications, or journalism.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, social media, and media monitoring analytics.
  • Experience with MailChimp, project management software, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and present marketing plans aligning with CPA’s vision and initiatives.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external marketing vendors and ensure brand guideline compliance.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with External Affairs, Customer Care, Programs, Finance, and other departments.
  • Content Creation and Accuracy: Ensure marketing materials are accurate and on-brand.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze metrics and guide optimizations across campaigns.
  • Project Management and Coordination: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for Marcom initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Strategy Development:Develop and present detailed marketing plans to stakeholders, articulating our vision and strategy for promoting CPA’s initiatives.Developintegrated marketingstrategies that align with our mission of promoting clean, renewable energythrough collaborations with CPA management.Lead the development of cross-channel marketing plans that ensure consistent messaging, audience targeting, customer experience, and campaignobjectivesacross all touchpoints.Create and informbrand and programstrategy developmentbyleveragingsecondary andprimary market research, analytics, and benchmarks, ensuring our approaches are data-driven and effective.Streamlineworkflows, improve project execution, enhance decision-making, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Vendor Management:Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, including advertising agencies, translation companies, and printers, ensuring all deliverables meet CPA’s brand guidelines and are delivered on time and within budget.Identifyand select external vendors for marketing services and projects, ensuring they align with CPA’s goals and standards.Negotiate project estimates with vendors to secure favorable terms that fit within CPA’s fiscal budgets.Develop scopesforRequests for Proposals (RFPs)that support integrated marketing initiatives across multiple channels
  • Campaign Planning and Execution:Manage the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across traditional and digital channels, maximizing outreach and engagement.Manage community outreach through events,and engagement activities to increase CPA awareness and program participation.Responsible for ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints, reinforcing CPA’s commitment to clean energy and community service.Lead coordinationwith internal teams for seamless campaign executions and approvals, ensuring alignment with CPA’s overallobjectives.Monitorcross-channel campaign performancemakedata-driven recommendations for optimizations, continuously improving our marketing effectiveness.Contribute to CPA’s yearly planning and goals, ensuring marketing strategies support our broader organizationalobjectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with External Affairs, Customer Care, Programs, Finance, and other departments to align marketing priorities and ensure cohesive communication.Liaisebetween marketing and other departments,facilitatingsmooth interactions and project executions.
  • Content Creation and Accuracy:Ensure all marketing materials, including original copy created or managed by the manager, are free from grammatical mistakes, factual inaccuracies, and inconsistencies in brand messaging.Responsible forproofreadingcontent and verifyingall information before publication,maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze and trackmetrics,identifytrends, and interpret data toevaluate integrated marketingperformance across paid and owned media, ensuringeffective campaign adjustments and informed decision-making.
  • Project Management and Coordination:Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring all components are executed as planned.Manage and trackthe progress of marketing communications (Marcom) initiatives, promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues tomaintainthe overall quality of projects.

Successful Candidates Must Demonstrate the Following Abilities:
  • Utilize approved technology and AI tools, as appropriate, to improve efficiency, streamline work processes, and support effective job performance in accordance with CPA guidelines(preferred).

Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and 5-6years of experienceinmarketing,communications, orjournalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree inmarketing,communications,or journalismpreferred.

Work Location

This position is eligible for either Hybrid or Remote options. The Hybrid option requires attendance in our Downtown Los Angeles officeon a full-time basis2-3days per week on daysdeterminedby CPA, with work location on the remaining days either in office or remote. Thisincludes a transportation allowance.The Remote option requires you to be available to attend full-time inoffice days and/or field events within Los Angeles and Ventura Countiesin accordance withthe needs of the company that may start as early as 8:30am at least 2 days per week.The Remote & Hybrid options require full-time in-person attendance at organization or team-wide events 3 times per year for 3-5 days per event. All staffare required towork during CPA’s office hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST.

The salary range for this position is $120,008.17- $180,012.25, with exact compensation to bedeterminedby Clean Power Alliance, dependent on experience. Benefits include health care, a 401(k)-like match program, paid vacation, and sick leave. This is not a civil service position; however, all CPA employeesare required tosubmita Statement of Economic Interests form, also known asthe Form 700.
