Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit a Senior Associate to lead product management, content creation and provide fundraising support for the hybrid capital investment strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead product management, content creation and provide fundraising support for the hybrid capital investment strategy
• Serve as the hybrid capital strategy subject matter expert and be the chief liaison between investors and the investment team
• Collaborate with the investment team to create bespoke product structures meeting investor requirements
• Perform market research, competitive positioning and maintain detailed knowledge of the opportunistic credit and hybrid capital ecosystem
• Advocate to investors how the platform's special situations, opportunistic credit and preferred and structured equity investments fit within their portfolios and perform through market cycles
• Create marketing and fundraising collateral including RFPs, DDQs and pitchbooks
• Engage with institutional investors providing insight on the firm's capabilities and hybrid capital solutions
• Communicate commercial knowledge to the business development team in support of strategic account planning, sales objectives and fundraising efforts
• Create marketing commentary, external communications and through leadership pieces to promote brand awareness
• Collaborate with private credit and private equity teams to promote underwriting and origination capabilities in investor marketing collateral
• Maintain and improve data management for content libraries, diligence trackers and investor pipelines
• Work closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth rollout of new product offerings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• CFA and/or MBA a plus
• 4+ years of opportunistic credit, special situations or hybrid capital product management, business development, capital raising or investor relations experience
• Demonstrated experience working through an entire fundraising cycle required
• Advanced understanding of hybrid capital solutions across the capital structure
• Demonstrated product expertise including preferred and structured equity, mezzanine debt, stretch senior debt, second-lien and HoldCo PIK debt
• Advanced analytical and research skills
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and financial modeling
• Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills with the ability to thrive in a lean and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and business writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and build rapport with key internal and external stakeholders
