Job summary

DA Trading Recruitment partners with leading Investment Banks to hire senior professionals for Secondary Capital Advisory roles. These teams handle GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions and related advisory work.

Successful candidates will work with private equity sponsors, institutional investors and fund managers on live mandates, performing financial modelling, valuation and client-ready materials while supporting business development across the secondaries market.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking or closely related advisory roles.
• Direct GP-led or LP-led secondaries experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of private equity secondary markets and liquidity solutions.
• Experience in financial modelling, valuation, and preparing client-facing materials.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced settings.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven ability to work with senior bankers, clients and institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Execute GP-led and LP-led secondaries, including continuation vehicles, single-asset and multi-asset transactions, and LP portfolio sales.
• Advise sponsors, general partners and limited partners on secondary liquidity solutions and portfolio transactions.
• Support transaction structuring, valuation analysis, and marketing materials.
• Conduct market research, transaction analysis and due diligence for live mandates.
• Coordinate investor engagement, data room management and due diligence throughout processes.
• Collaborate with senior bankers to guide mandates from origination through close.
• Build relationships with sponsors, institutional investors and other secondary market participants.
• Contribute to business development, client presentations and growth of the advisory franchise.
