Job summary

Eight Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate to work directly with corporate clients and private equity firms on acquisition and disposal M&A processes. You will participate from initial client meetings through analyses and closing the deal, and you will report findings to stakeholders.

You will lead analyses of financial statements and business plans, identify key drivers, and contribute to business development with an entrepreneurial mindset while guiding more junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or similar.
• 2–3 years of Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence in a Big 4 or equivalent.
• Financial analysis skills, including earnings quality, net financial debt, net working capital, and cash flows.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to work on international projects.
• A drive to solve new issues in a practical and creative manner.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to be a great team player.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team from the initial client meeting pitch, to analyses and closing of the deal
• Execute analyses and identify issues and key drivers that may be of relevance and could have an impact on the transaction
• Summarize your findings, and your team’s, on analyses of financial statements and business plans in a report to key stakeholders
• Actively contribute to business development (both internal and external) with an entrepreneurial mindset, and build relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
• Steer and provide guidance to more junior team members
