What will you do?

  • As a Senior Associate focused primarily on Real Estate in the M&A team, you will work closely with Real Estate Managing Director(s), Real Estate M&A Team, and Real Estate Industry team on real estate specific M&A transactions and potential business opportunities.
  • Transaction execution, new business presentations and meetings, and other related duties.
  • Develop pitch books and client materials with Analysts and deal teams.
  • Coordinate with Industry groups to evaluate and originate new business opportunities.
  • Identify operational risks and control deficiencies proactively.
  • Review and ensure compliance with Firm Policies.
  • Report operational risks and control issues to line managers and relevant functions promptly.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA, MS, or equivalent with emphasis in finance or accounting.
  • At least four years of Investment Banking experience, with a preference for M&A and Real Estate investment banking experience.
  • Strong understanding of valuation, financial metrics, merger modeling, and transaction execution.
  • Knowledge of capital markets and proficiency in spreadsheet modeling.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong finance and accounting knowledge.
  • Motivated and able to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High standards of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Series 79 & 63 licenses.
