Job summary

OMD USA LLC is seeking a Sr Associate in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to support AI-powered search strategies. You’ll conduct research, audits, and execution to shape visibility on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity, growing your SEO foundation into AI-driven strategies.

You’ll team with SEO, Content, and Analytics to deliver client programs, monitor AI trends, and build GEO capabilities for enterprise brands in a fast-evolving landscape.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in SEO.
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in keyword research and on-page optimization (title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking).
• Foundational technical SEO skills (site audits, crawling/indexing, schema, page speed basics).
• Familiarity with SEO tools (GSC, SEMrush, BrightEdge) and curiosity about AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity).
• Strong desire to learn emerging AI trends and apply them to client work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prompt/theme analysis, AI content landscape mapping, and support LLM visibility audits.
• Carry out AI-readiness technical audits to assess site structure, content accessibility, and optimization opportunities for generative engines.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on AI-driven search trends, citation patterns, and competitor visibility.
• Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and internal documentation to support GEO projects.
• Prepare materials and research inputs for client POVs, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Analytics teams to integrate GEO insights into broader programs.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and training sessions to grow GEO expertise.
