Job summary
Golden State is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Labor & Employment, to shape the legal landscape of a leading sports and entertainment organization. This full-time, onsite role in San Francisco requires guiding complex litigation and employment matters while partnering with HR and operations to balance risk and business goals.
You will provide strategic legal support, oversee investigations, and refine policies, building scalable processes.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in labor and employment law with unions, investigations, and claims.
- Experience supporting broad business units and risk management strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-visibility setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end litigation portfolio across labor, employment, and commercial disputes.
- Oversee labor and employment matters with HR and leadership on discipline, investigations, and compliance with laws.
- Update employee handbooks and HR policies to improve compliance and operations.
- Lead workplace investigations and union-related matters with regulatory alignment.
- Manage outside counsel and coordinate with mediators, regulators, and opposing counsel.
