Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated legal advice on institution-wide legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
• Own enterprise-wide legal risk management and mitigation strategies for significant matters.
• Lead negotiation and drafting of complex contracts, policies, and governance documents.
• Interpret evolving laws and regulatory changes, guiding leadership on implications.
• Represent the institution in complex proceedings, managing external counsel as needed.
• Monitor legislative, regulatory, and industry trends to inform strategy.
• Lead design and implementation of institution-wide legal education and compliance initiatives.
• Provide insight on emerging legal issues and best practices to shape policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
