Job summary

Mission Staffing is seeking a Senior Associate, FP&A for a multi-strategy hedge fund in NYC. You will help build a best-in-class FP&A and reporting function by standardizing tools and driving continuous improvement of planning processes.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of hedge fund FP&A experience, a 4-year accounting or finance degree (CPA a plus), and proficiency with MS Office, Power BI, and Tableau. Base salary is $100,000–$160,000 with total compensation up to $200,000.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of Hedge Fund FP&A experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office is required.
• CPA is a plus.
• Hedge Fund and investment manager experience preferred.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau and other data visualization tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building FP&A and reporting tools.

• Assist budgeting process with senior leadership.

***Senior Associate, FP&A - Hedge Fund***

Thriving Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund in NYC with AUM in excess of $15 Billion has an immediate opening for a Senior Associate, FP&A!

Base Salary Range: $100,000-$160,000. Total Compensation up to $200,000 and seeking 4-6 years of Hedge Fund FP&A experience.

The role is open due to firm expansion/growth. Responsibilities:

• Assist in building a best-in-class FP&A and Reporting function by developing, standardizing, and driving continuous improvement of all financial tools and planning processes.


• Develop deep understanding of the underlying operations and drivers of firmwide expenses and performance.


• Deliver financial insight and recommendations to our executive leadership for strategic and operational planning decisions.


• Assist in spearheading the annual firmwide budgeting process, serving as a key partner to senior management and business leadership.


• Collaborate with the team regarding system enhancements, and maintenance of Adaptive Insights/Workday, the firm’s budgeting & forecasting tool


• Support Management Accounting team in the rebuilding / enhancing of month-end processes


• Contribute to the consolidation and analysis of management reporting results, monthly forecasts, and quarterly updates for senior leadership.


• Collaborate internally with other cross-functional partners to strategize, troubleshoot issues, and support any needs they may have.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance


• 4 – 6 years’ experience


• Proficiency with MS office is required


• Professional qualification such as CPA is a plus


• Hedge Fund and investment manager experience preferred


• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools preferred
