KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Capital Markets for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities :

1. Advise clients on revenue enhancements or operational efficiencies/scalability through the design and implementation of customized operating models.
2. Conduct current state assessments, perform industry/competitor research, develop gap assessments and design target state operating models.
3. Assist KPMG teams through daily execution of activities, deliverables, project plans and client presentations.
4. Support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives and developing/presenting proposals.

Qualifications :

1. Minimum three years of experience in Institutional Investments/Capital Markets within a financial services/broker/asset manager, audit/tax, and/or advisory firm.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university.
3. Experience leading or supporting engagements around Operational Risk and Controls, Control Governance Standards.
4. Strong background in Compliance Transformation, control review and testing from front office businesses, such as sales and trading and asset/wealth management.
5. Ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations.
6. Travel as necessary, 3-4 days per week at client site (NYC).
7. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
