Position Overview

KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities
  1. Support Tax Managers and Partners in managing client portfolios daily.
  2. Take responsibility for engagement planning and administration.
  3. Keep management informed on engagement and client relationship issues.
  4. Audit tax provisions and review working papers to ensure conclusions are supported and policies are met.
  5. Execute compliance tasks with moderate to minimal supervision.
  6. Supervise associate staff on large and complex engagements when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of recent investment partnership and/or mutual fund tax experience in public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or Master's in Taxation from an accredited university.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting procedures, and partnership tax regulations.
  • Exceptional skills in reviewing 1065 and 1120-RIC tax returns.
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide excellent service.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills.

California Salary Range: $66,900 - $122,200.
