Job summary

KPMG LLP in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice. You will lead budget formulation and execution activities, author strategic guidance, support stakeholders, and develop executive dashboards to improve data transparency and compliance.

You will oversee the financial management of PPBE submissions, track changes to budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and modernize processes with digital tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of federal financial management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Certifications ( CPA / CGFM / CDFM ) preferred.
• Hands-on PPBE lifecycle experience is required.
• Willingness to travel as required to support engagements.
• U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Budget Formulation and Budget Execution activities and develop dashboards.
• Support PPBE, BES, and PB submissions including narratives and data calls.
• Track budget changes and ensure compliance with appropriated funds and regulations.
• Collaborate with federal stakeholders to modernize financial operations using digital tools.
• Create dynamic dashboards transforming financial data for agency leadership.
