Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager in its Federal Advisory practice to lead the development of data-driven visualizations and dashboards for government engagements. You will oversee dashboard projects, guide senior client discussions on strategy, and ensure quality delivery using Tableau, PowerBI or Qlik.

You will manage data preparation via ETL methods and develop user guides, while mentoring staff and contributing to project risk control. Some travel and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of data visualization development experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience developing visualizations/dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik and other visualization software.
• Experience managing projects: scope, timelines, delegation, and risk management.
• Experience with SQL, Python, SAS, R for data analysis/ETL.
• Experience overseeing technical staff, mentoring, training, and quality control.
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
• Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in developing data-driven visualizations and dashboards.
• Provide oversight, scoping, technical assistance, and quality control of dashboards/visualizations.
• Lead discussions with senior clients to define visualization strategy and gather requirements.
• Prepare data for dashboards using basic ETL and data processing methods.
• Develop documentation/guides for dashboard usage and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for visualization/reporting enhancements and develop execution strategies.
